Description
Amorphous Hydrogel.
Features & Benefits:
• The syringe presentation enables gel application directly into the wound for safe, clean dosing
• Provides a moist wound environment helping to promote wound healing
• Facilitates the removal of devitalised tissue while absorbing wound debris and exudate
• Preservative Free
Action:
• Hydrosorb gel is a clear, viscous, sterile gel (single use)
• Contains Ringer's solution, glycerol, hydroxy-ethyl cellulose, carboxy-methyl cellulose to provide a moist environment
• Does not contain Propylene Glycol
Indications:
• Management of chronic wounds that need additional moisture
Contraindications:
• Heavily exuding wounds
• Do not use Hydrosorb Gel on any patients who may be allergic to any of its ingredients
• Full thickness burns
Wear Time:
• Up to 2 days and requires a suitable secondary dressing to prevent drying out
Sizes::
• Apply minimum thickness of 5mm
• Gel can be applied to a gauze pack and lightly packed into a cavity wound
Item says it is out of stock, can I still order it? Yes you can still order any item that appears on our website. The item will then be placed on back order, once it arrives into our warehouse, we will ship it out ASAP.
Hardware items? Some hardware items can be customised which is why we don't keep many in our warehouse. If you place an order for one, we will order it in for you and possibly have it shipped directly to you.
Cold chain items must be placed on a separate order from other items as they are shipped separately and have a separate/different freight charge.
Freight will be calculated during checkout. You must list your delivery address as a physical address. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes etc.
Delivery times (with all items in stock): Sydney/Brisbane/Melbourne: ETA 1-2 business days. All other locations 2-3 business days. Freight times are dependant on courier companies.
